It's easy to sit and listen, consciously, with your logical mind to information, but what about the repressed, subconscious impulses and emotions in the psyche that have gone accounted for?
Letting go of the past isn't forgetting the past, it's letting go of the EMOTIONAL BAGGAGE.
Reference to the past can only be done in a completely impartial, neutral, logical, non-emotional, non-feeling-based, manner, otherwise degenerancy, biasedness, self-pity, and all other evils await.
To improve broken or fractured relationships, the PAST MUST BE LEFT BEHIND---especially emotionally.
Fallibism isn't a good enough excuse in terms of social wellness---to keep regurgitating "old wounds" drenched with psychical-emotional-baggage, which makes it impossible to move forward in one's self and relationships.
Do not "forgive and forget" like sheep, rather, "forgive and move on."
Know what has happened in the past, but detached one's self from ALL FEELING AND EMOTION
