#lecture #audio Tempering the Overcorrection
- Correction beyond what is needed or customary, especially when leading to error; overadjustment
- Anti-religiousness leads to religiousness, anti-racism leads to racism, anti-sexism leads to sexism.
- Overcorrection isn't balance, though it sometimes masquerades as balance or the false center; How to identify overcorrections?
- Why all modern social movements are an utter failure and why they should all be called out for their overcorrections; This includes everything from BLM to Pride to 4th wave Feminism.
- Overcorrection leads to the empowerment of the opposite desired effect; For example, anti-white ideologies, while misguided by 'getting back at the white man for his past' actually does the opposite. In fact, it creates another victim group (SWM) which leads to the further empowerment of actual bigotry and racism.
- Neo-Nazism has as much power as it does in modern times because of overcorrection. Same with anti-homosexual movements and the uprising woman-hate which is a direct spawn from man-hatred, which the misguided have used as a shield to justify the injustices done to women in the past.
- Past injustices does not give you the right to create injustices on people now, even if they are descendants of former oppressors.
- Eye for an eye makes the whole world blind; Movements led by hatred over love will always fail, no matter what their core ideologies and ideologues preach for 'good'.
- Even within the FIGU community, sometimes a zealous-like overcorrection against religion and belief ironically results in stagnant dogmatism and belief, though some of these people are trying to do the opposite by "saying the right words".
- Flipping the tables is an extremity; Time to end this "Switch" practice - it doesn't work in reality because it is anything but balance.
