Valuable Activities, Work, Hobbies & The Polymath's Universality
• The human being was not solely designed to be an astute materialist, who can only think about grinding their careers, gaining money and moving up the corporate ladder. This is a (poetically speaking) "soulless" (psychically impaired) mindset that leads to utter destruction. The even greater irony is the belief that such materialist-driven and often pseudo-intellectually-driven humans think that they are achieving great honors by conforming to societal materialism. In reality, the human is meant to be much more than his/her "job" or "career." He/she is a part of Creation as creation creating creation--- and in this regard, if the human is a microcosm of a macrocosm, as in, the universe in individual form, then he/she must be universal. Only insects are pure specialists, and in this regard, only materialist-intellectuals, conformed to the pathetic nature of their societies, which are often blind, overly masculine (even for females), singularity-focused on careers and jobs that sustain an uncreative, unimaginative, one-track, self-destructive, neo-capitalistic system. The human being must be like Da Vinci in the respect of being a polymath (universal)--- exploring a multitude of fields. Of course, he/she can be specialized in one or a few, but to be stuck solely in one discipline or focus is not only limiting, but hindering to the full potential of one's evolution.
• Sometimes multiple fields do not mean multiple jobs, they can come in the forms of hobbies and other valuable activities.
• Valuable activities range based on the person and their interests/evolution. In this respect, valuable activities for one can be planting a garden, whereas another, practicing their programming skills or learning a new language.
• Hobbies are of exceptional importance as well, especially if the hobbies aren't used for pure escapism because hobbies allow the human being to explore other fields of interest and develop greater neuroplasticity.
• First of all, we are here to evolve and to be more specific, we are here to evolve the Universal Creation. In this regard, evolution doesn't have to come from only ONE field, ONE discipline, ONE job, ONE teacher or ONE philosophy. As Musashi said, "You must understand that there is more than one path to the top of the mountain." We are here to experience universality. Whether it is through your job/career, arts and crafts, engineering, innovation, pioneering science, or even simple things like having a chat over a coffee. Embrace the universality because that is truly being Creational.
